Stop phone-tagging three haulers every 90 days

Most cities want a full grease-trap pump-out on a fixed cycle (Houston: at least every 90 days). PumpDue emails Featured local pumpers when you’re due; they bid in about a day; you pick. Free for kitchens — no platform fee.

What you actually save (honest)

We don’t invent a dollar savings figure. Real gains for kitchens:

  1. Time. One round instead of three outbound calls and follow-ups.
  2. Missed-cycle risk. A free reminder on your city’s schedule. Houston example: full evacuation at least every 90 days (Code §47-512(b)); Houston Health cites fines $250–$2,000 per Chapter 47 Article XI offense — see Houston rules and violation notice guide.
  3. Choice. You still pick the pumper. PumpDue is not auto-assign.

Houston’s clock

City of Houston wants a full interceptor pump-out at least every 90 days. Manifests matter. Start with a free reminder, then use PumpDue when you’re due.

How a PumpDue round works

  1. You’re due (or nearly due) — free reminder helps you not miss it.
  2. Featured pumpers in your city get the alert with kitchen name, location, and trap size.
  3. They bid in about a day; prices land in one thread.
  4. You pick. Booking locks. You pay the pumper you chose — not GreaseTrapRules.

Who pays what

You pay the pumper you choose. GreaseTrapRules does not charge kitchens a platform fee.

Pumpers: free to be listed; a flat $59 only per booked job. Details: /pumpdue/ · /list-your-company/.

FAQ

Is this a lead auction?

No. It’s due-date driven. Alerts go out when a kitchen’s pump-out is due, not as a bought list.

Do I have to use Featured pumpers?

Bids come from Featured pumpers in your city. You still choose who to book — or don’t open a round.

Can I stay with my current hauler?

Yes. If they bid, pick them. If they aren’t Featured yet, keep calling them the old way, or ask them to claim a free listing on /claim/.

What does this cost my kitchen?

Nothing to GreaseTrapRules. Reminders are free. PumpDue is free for kitchens.
